Amanda Giessen

I am 43 and I live in a wonderfully small town in East Texas with my amazing husband, our sons, our 2 cats and 2 dogs.

I have been a lifelong reader but I fell out of reading while I was earning my BFA in Digital Photography from Arizona State University.  As soon as I graduated, I started getting my money's worth from my Kindle Unlimited subscription and filling every empty spot in my house with bookcases and shelves for all of my Book Trophies. When I'm not reading, you can find me drinking coffee, looking for new books to paint, making all things crafty, spending time with my family and friends, and running around taking pictures. Lavender Lattes was born while I was a stay at home mom with my youngest son. I was looking for something small to keep me busy and to bring home a little extra money and I kind of just fell into opening an Etsy shop, now 6 years later, Lavender Lattes has become our primary source of income while fueling my book dragon tendencies.
